Not an autograph artist? I don’t have any problem
There are hundreds of independent artists, but the goal is to get new fans. We need as many people as possible to listen to our band so that their friends can discover this amazing new band. An important step in this process is to import music from Spotify.
Spotify and its “premium” service are familiar to anyone who has never lived on Cloud 9. Also, Spotify is starting to dominate social media. I always know when one of my friends listens to certain songs via Spotify, Facebook, Twitter and other social media. Example: “Hey Nicklas, you just signed up for Spotify. He listened to Weasel…”
Impression potential is worth a small amount of money per stream (per play). Luckily, indie artists like you have no problem getting music from Spotify.
The label may have been signed from online shopping in Pakistan branch. You may already have music on Spotify. If the music is not uploaded, please contact the person in charge. If they didn’t and you want them, send them orders! Be kind to them. Don’t forget to include a press release full of your biography, photos, contact information and anything else that makes you stand out. Isn’t it simple?
Even unsigned artists can upload music without a label. However, you cannot negotiate directly with Spotify. What’s the reason? The contract with the majors probably stipulates this. However, there is a simple solution to this. Tunecore, CDBaby and DittoMusic are distributors to consider. Reading reviews from these distributors will save you time so your work will not be interrupted.
You can upload your music to Spotify within 4-6 weeks of creating an account with a publisher or signing a record label contract. More work remains to be done, including:
It’s important to promote your music!
Make an allmusic.com profile as a backup in case Spotify doesn’t get you great press releases. If you don’t have a biography, Spotify will look for it there.
Now that all the tedious work is done, you can let your fans know that your music will soon be featured on Spotify! Spread the word by making awesome Facebook, Twitter and MySpace posts. Make a video for your YouTube channel and spread it. Great idea: make a song and link it to a Spotify release! We’ll be uploading the recorded songs to Spotify soon for our fans. Fans will love it!
Now, some tedious work remains. A clickable logo is a must for any modern website. In spotify pk, you can download the Spotify logo after you upload your music to the service. Next, go to the band’s Spotify profile (you’ll see several options: “Top Hits, Tracks, Playlists”… you’ll want to click the link under “Artists”). Hover over the artist profile, right-click and select “Copy Spotify URI”. Finally, you can integrate the URI with the Spotify logo by adding an “image widget” to your website or blog sidebar.
“Spotify Play Button” is another great promotional tool for Spotify. You can use this feature to publish your songs on websites and blogs. First, right-click on the song, album or playlist you want to promote on Spotify and select “Copy Spotify URI”.
